[R-OR]", "OR", "R", "S001142", 5, "Methamphetamine Remediation Research Act of 2005 - Directs the Assistant Administrator for Research and Development of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to establish: (1) voluntary guidelines, based on the best available scientific knowledge, for the remediation of former methamphetamine laboratories, including guidelines regarding preliminary site assessment and the remediation of residual contaminants; and (2) a program of research to support the development and revision of such guidelines. Directs the Assistant Administrator: (1) every three years, to convene a conference of appropriate state agencies, individuals, and organizations involved in research and other activities directly related to the environmental or biological impacts of former methamphetamine laboratories to be a forum for exchanging information relating to such guidelines; and (2) to enter into an arrangement with the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) for a study of the status and quality of research on the residual effects of methamphetamine laboratories.
